4 hoagie rolls (or Italian rolls)
1 large onion (thinly sliced)
1 green bell pepper (optional, sliced)
8 slices provolone cheese (or Cheez Whiz for authenticity)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper to taste

Directions
