Ingredients:
2 ½ cups (300g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 packet (7g) active dry yeast
¾ cup (180ml) warm water (110°F/45°C)
2 tablespoons olive oil

Utensils Needed:
Large mixing bowl
Measuring cups and spoons
Whisk or fork
Rolling pin (or a Sharp Blades chef’s knife for precision cutting)
Baking sheet or pizza stone
Parchment paper (optional)
Kitchen towel

Preparation Time:
Preparation: 15 minutes
Rising Time: 1-2 hours
Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes

Comprehensive Guidelines:
Get the Yeast Active:
Combine the yeast, sugar, and warm water in a large mixing bowl. After giving it a gentle stir, leave it for five to ten minutes, or until it starts to foam. The yeast is active, based on this.

To make the dough:
Combine the yeast mixture with the flour, salt, and olive oil. Stir until a dough starts to take shape. One spoonful of additional flour at a time can be added if the dough is too sticky.

Knead the dough:
Place the dough on a surface dusted with flour and knead it for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it is elastic and smooth. Push the dough away from you with the heel of your hand, then fold it back and do it again.

Allow It to Rise:
Put the dough in a bowl that has been lightly greased, cover it with a kitchen towel, and leave it in a warm location for one to two hours, or until it has doubled in size.

Set the Oven's Temperature:
475°F (245°C). Put the pizza stone in the oven to preheat if you plan to use one.

Shape the Dough:
Punch the dough down to eliminate any air bubbles once it has risen. To get the thickness you want, roll it out on a floured surface. Roll it thinner for a crispy crust and somewhat thicker for a chewier one.

To add toppings:
Move the dough to a parchment paper-lined pizza stone or baking sheet. Top with your preferred cheese, sauce, and toppings.

Bake:
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.

Serve and Savour:
Take it out of the oven, let it a few minutes to cool, then cut it into slices and serve!
